SOME FOOD PREP/KITCHEN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Part-time up to 25hrs per week. Tue, Thur, Fri, and Sat. You will be working independently in a small bar kitchen prepping, cooking, plating and keeping the kitchen clean. In addition, this role will be responsible for general cleaning twice a week such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows etc. Job Summary We are seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to join our team as a Server/Prep Cook/General cleaning team. This position is fun! Our hundreds of customers are mostly regulars, and appreciate the work our staff puts in! It involves providing excellent food service, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, kitchen operations, and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a dynamic team committed to quality and safety. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking food items as needed. Serve meals to customers in a fun and friendly environment Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and common spaces by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks. Flexible hours Handle food safely according to industry standards, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food products. Support catering events or special functions as required. Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility to ensure a safe and functional environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service and facility maintenance. Skills Ability to multi-task, prepare multiple items simultaneously for timely delivery Food service and awareness are vital in a sometimes fast paced environment Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly. Experience in food service or restaurant environments Cleaning responsibilities are part of the job Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication skills and teamwork
