Full‑Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift Mount Prospect Academy is hiring a Culinary Support Para‑Educator to help prepare meals and support daily food service operations for at‑risk youth in a therapeutic residential school setting. nutrition guidelines Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation Safely store kitchen equipment and hazardous items Monitor cooking times, food temperatures, and quality Assist with ordering, inventory, and stocking supplies Prepare advance meals for dinners and weekends Supervise students/helpers during kitchen tasks Support kitchen operations across nearby MPA campuses Perform cleaning, stocking, and general kitchen duties Qualifications Must be 21 years or older Ability to travel between MPA kitchen locations as needed 1+ year experience preparing meals for large groups OR 2+ years commercial, industrial, or institutional cooking Relevant college credits in food service may substitute Ability to take direction, communicate clearly, and stand for long periods Benefits & Perks Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 403
