Schedule:

Day, Evening, and Weekend shifts available We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to support daily food service operations at our Rehabilitation Treatment Center. This role is essential to supporting client health and recovery by assisting with nutritious meal preparation in a clean, safe, and respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and service for residents and staff Follow established menus and dietary guidelines, including special dietary needs Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and storage areas Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment Properly store food and supplies according to safety standards Assist with inventory, stocking, and food rotation Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and facility personnel Support opening and closing kitchen procedures as assigned Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (healthcare or residential setting a plus) Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a structured, professional environment Compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Must be able to pass required background checks and comply with facility policies

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
