Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage customer transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and retail sales transactions with precision. Provide friendly, attentive service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and answering customer inquiries to enhance their dining experience. Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to food safety regulations throughout shifts. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, and food prep tools. Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with a focus on efficiency and quality. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for seamless order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours without compromising quality or safety. Basic math skills for cash register operations, processing cash transactions, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.
