Job Description
Andes General Store & Deli is looking for dependable Kitchen Staff to help prepare breakfast and lunch sandwiches in a fast-paced deli environment. This role also includes food prep for ready-made items, grab-and-go foods, and pastries. We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a small team. No professional kitchen experience required — we are willing to train the right person . Responsibilities Prepare breakfast and lunch sandwiches during service Assist with morning food prep before opening Prepare ready-made foods, grab-and-go items, and pastries Stock and organize prep stations throughout the day Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Help receive deliveries and restock inventory Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods Requirements Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Able to multitask and stay organized Friendly and team-oriented Willing to learn food prep and kitchen procedures Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs What We Offer Training provided Consistent scheduling Small, supportive work environment Free or discounted meals during shifts Opportunity for growth and additional responsibility
