Overview Mira is looking for a Kitchen Expediter to join our team! Mira is a Mediterranean restaurant located in the Elmwood Village. The menu highlights the cuisines of Italy, Spain, Greece and other countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea. We will have a strong focus on house made pastas, charcoal grilled meats & vegetables and a Mediterranean focused beverage program. The Kitchen Expediter is responsible for managing the flow of service. They will work along the Chef to ensure an organized service. Responsibilities Managing tickets and staying organized to ensure that each guest recieves their food in a timely manner Work along Chef to ensure that each dish leaves the kitchen to our standard Have a deep comprehension of the food menu Work with servers & kitchen to create a seamless experience for guests Anticipate servers & guests needs and have guest recognition Execute service with efficiency to create an overall positive guest experience Maintain a sense of urgency Understand restaurant layout in order for food to be delivered correctly Stand for the entirety of scheduled shift Walk/move around the restaurant for the majority of scheduled shift Be able to hold warm plates in order to deliver food to guests in a timely fashion Qualifications Restaurant experience is required Availability weeknights & weekends is preferred Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
