Hein & Dine is hiring an Assistant Cook to help prepare fresh meals in our in-house kitchen at William S. Hein & Co., Inc. This is not a traditional restaurant role. You'll work Monday through Thursday during the day , with no nights, no weekends, and no late-service rush . Our small kitchen team serves breakfast, lunch, and take-home dinners for employees and building tenants in a supportive, organized environment.

Schedule and Pay Monday:

6:00 a.m.

25 per hour, depending on experience What You'll Do Prep ingredients and assist with daily meal preparation Cook and assemble breakfast and lunch items such as omelets, shakes, sandwiches, and salads Help prepare take-home dinners Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen Wash all dishes, pots, and pans Follow food safety and sanitation standards Assist with inventory, restocking, and occasional grocery shopping Deliver meals to tenant offices and provide friendly customer service Lead a simplified menu when the Head Chef is out What We're Looking For Commercial kitchen or food-service experience Basic knife skills and safe food-handling knowledge Good organization and time-management skills A dependable, positive, team-focused attitude Ability to work independently when needed Formal culinary training is a plus, but not required.
