Job Description
MOGMOG, a Japanese grocery store located in Long Island City, NY, is seeking Kitchen Staff (Part-Time and Full-Time) to join our growing dumpling production team. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently are welcome to apply. Dumpling wrapping is performed by machine, so no hand-folding experience is required. Applicants should be comfortable with long periods of standing and working in a refrigerated environment. There are opportunities for advancement to a full-time permanent position based on performance and contributions. Requirements Valid SSN required Job Responsibilities General kitchen duties Food preparation and basic cooking Dishwashing and cleaning Receiving and organizing ingredients Inventory management and ordering Learning and following HACCP food safety procedures Schedule 3-5 days per week, Monday through Friday (Weekend operations are planned in the near future.)
