Hourly Rate:

$18.00 / hour We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated crew members to join our dynamic team at Playa Bowls, New Jersey's Original Acai Shop. As a key contributor, you'll provide exceptional customer service, collaborate with coworkers, and maintain a clean, organized, and high-energy store environment.

Core Responsibilities Customer Interaction:

Requires the ability to converse comfortably in English to ensure customer safety regarding dietary restrictions and to provide excellent guest service.

Daily Operations:

Complete daily tasks, including opening and closing duties, operating equipment (blenders, POS systems), and maintaining strict store cleanliness.

Guest Experience:

Engage customers by educating them on our products, answering questions, and making menu suggestions.

Full-Time Commitment:

This is a year-round, full-time role requiring 30+ hours weekly ( no seasonal/temporary applicants, please) . You must have the flexibility to work a rotating schedule of opening, mid, and closing shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements & Essential Functions Experience:

1 - 2 years of previous food service experience.

Travel:

Reliable transportation and the ability to work any one of 3 shifts, Opening, Mid-Shift, Closing Shifts, and weekends.

Physical Demands:

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, candidates must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, bend, reach, work safely in tight kitchen spaces, and stand for prolonged periods (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Age Requirement:

Must be 18 years of age or older due to late-night closing shifts (12:30 AM) and New York State labor law restrictions.
