Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Staff member to join our team. This is a versatile position for someone who is willing to help wherever needed in the kitchen. Responsibilities include food preparation, dishwashing, kitchen and dining area cleanliness, food running, and assisting with basic cooking duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. No professional cooking experience is required. Paid training will be provided for cooking duties. Key Responsibilities
  • . Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, slicing, and portioning vegetables, meat, and other food items.
  • . Assist cooks with basic food preparation and cooking tasks.
  • . Run food from the kitchen to the dining area.
  • . Learn and follow recipes, cooking procedures, and food safety standards.
  • . Receive training to prepare and cook menu items as needed. All required cooking training is paid.
  • . Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • . Keep the kitchen, workstations, dining area, and dishwashing areas clean and organized.
  • . Properly store food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies.
  • . Label and date prepared food and follow proper food storage procedures.
  • . Take out trash and assist with cleaning floors, kitchen areas, and dining areas.
  • . Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • . Work as part of a team to keep daily kitchen operations running smoothly.
  • . Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
  • . Perform other kitchen duties as needed by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
•. Receive deliveries from suppliers, verify delivered items against invoices or delivery orders, safely unpack and organize products, and properly store food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies in the appropriate storage areas. Label and date food products and prepared items, and maintain proper food storage and rotation practices. Qualifications Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not required . Basic knife skills and experience safely handling kitchen knives are preferred. Ability to safely cut, chop, slice, and portion meats, vegetables, and other food ingredients. Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities in the kitchen. No professional cooking experience required; paid cooking training will be provided . Ability and willingness to multitask and perform a variety of duties, including food preparation, cutting meats and vegetables, dishwashing, food running, cleaning restaurant floors and work areas, receiving deliveries, and assisting with basic cooking. Willingness to switch between different tasks and responsibilities as needed during a shift. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and team-oriented. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed. What We Offer
