Kitchen Helper

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Helper to join our team in New Hyde Park. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, supporting our chefs, and maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Responsibilities Food Prep:

Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and preparing sauces or proteins.

Station Support:

Help set up and break down kitchen stations before and after service.

Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace; handle dishwashing and ensure all equipment and utensils are sanitized.

Inventory:

Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing storage areas.

Compliance:

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly.

Requirements Availability:

Weekend shifts are a must. Candidates must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Experience:

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bar setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a great attitude.

Pace:

Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy high-volume shifts.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Teamwork:

A "team-first" mentality and strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:
