Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including surfaces, utensils, and equipment, through regular cleaning routines. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices to prevent injuries. Assist with general restaurant operations including food handling, stock replenishment, and supporting team members during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safe lifting practices to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cleaning protocols and basic food preparation techniques. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for providing excellent guest services and working effectively within a team. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely throughout shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings is highly valued.
