This role is ideal for individuals with prior kitchen experience who are comfortable working in a small, efficient space and executing a focused, high-quality menu. You don't need to be a head chef or sous chef—just someone who understands kitchen flow, takes pride in their work, and can stay consistent during service. Responsibilities include food prep, assembling dishes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting day-to-day kitchen operations. Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces Support cooking processes by monitoring food items during preparation and ensuring proper cooking techniques are followed Handle food safely by adhering to all food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions when needed Support banquet and event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service operations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining guest satisfaction through friendly communication and attentive service Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and bussing in hospitality settings such as hotels or restaurants Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and serve guests efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and guest services excellence
