We are currently looking for line cooks and our menu includes pizza, salads, sandwiches, and sautéed pasta dishes. Experience is a plus, but NOT required. No late nights, we close at 9PM during the week. We are looking for people to join our culinary team to prepare food to our menu specifications and to set up stations for lunch and dinner service. Line cook and pizza maker duties will consist of assisting the KM with their daily tasks. Responsibilities Work well with with others Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, protein prep , or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Work well with and support the rest of the team Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Skills Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry's best practices
