A Kitchen Staff assists with food preparation as directed by cooks, food supervisors or chefs. Cleans kitchen work areas and dishes. Prepares ingredients for dishes to be cooked, prepares beverages, and stocks salad bars or buffet tables.
$14/hr Job Description A non-profit organization is seeking a Kitchen Aide to work part-time, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Duties:
Receive, prepare (warm up food), package, serve and clean up following grab-and-go or congregate meal programs Receive, count, and sign off on caterer's invoice Clean and maintain kitchen and equipment to meet food safety standards Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required Prepare and serve refreshments for participants as needed Clean and maintain participant dining room Store, heat, and serve meals, and p ackage home delivered meals according to caterer's specification
Job Requirements Qualifications:
M ust have a High School diploma or GED Must have previous experience in food service; ServSafe Certification is preferred Must have the ability to abide by and follow all food safety standards and follow caterer's specification Must be able to pay a high attention to detail while being safety conscious Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
