Job Overview We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Prep to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, helping to prepare ingredients, organize supplies, and ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Duties Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and standards. Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices. Support with menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials or catering events. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Aid in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating effectively with cooks, dietary aides, and other kitchen staff. Requirements Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus but not mandatory. Previous kitchen experience in restaurants, catering, or food service environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper hygiene practices. Basic culinary skills including knife techniques, food preparation, and meal assembly. Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and cooking methods. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations. Pay:

$13.50 - $15.00 per hour
