Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and quickly. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guests feel welcomed. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and managing food storage. Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Follow sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Support retail or grocery store functions when needed, including basic math for inventory checks or sales transactions. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment focused on guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Kitchen experience or culinary background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued! Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
