Our cafeteria team plays a crucial role in this mission by ensuring our students receive nutritious and delicious meals every day.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cafeteria Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and provide excellent customer service to our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch meals. Ensure that food is prepared in accordance with health and safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including countertops, utensils, and equipment. Assist in inventory management, including the receipt and storage of food supplies. Interact with students and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and sanitation. Assist with the setup and cleanup of the cafeteria before and after meal services. Perform other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry items up to 35 pounds. Must pass a background check.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, during school hours. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for special events.
Compensation:
