Job Overview We're looking for dependable, hard working, positive team members who enjoy working with others and take pride in delivering quality product with great customer service. Even during slower periods, there's something to do to keep busy and pass the time. Each and every shift plays an important role in keeping the shop running smoothly. As an in-shop team member, you'll help create and maintain a fast, friendly experience in a clean environment for every customer. This role is responsible for preparing food, assembling sandwiches, taking orders, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and supporting fellow team members throughout each shift. Success will come from maintaining a positive attitude, working with a strong sense of urgency, and consistently following Jimmy John's brand standards. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and complete daily side prep tasks Build sandwiches quickly and accurately according to Jimmy John's recipes and quality standards Bag orders carefully, verify order accuracy, and ensure every guests receives the correct items Provide friendly, professional customer service both in person and over the phone Restock ingredients, paper products, and supplies as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area throughout shift Complete assigned cleaning and opening/closing duties Assist with additional tasks to keep the restaurant operating efficiently during slower and busier periods alike Communicate effectively with managers and teammates to ensure smooth operations Requirements Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Work safely around kitchen equipment and refrigerated areas Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your efforts directly contribute to creating pristine environments that foster productivity and well-being.
