In this vital role, you will assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your contributions will help ensure that meals are prepared efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on culinary experience and develop essential skills in a fast-paced food service setting. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Support cooking activities by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items Handle food items safely according to established food handling procedures and hygiene protocols Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation meets quality standards Support catering events or large-scale meal services by setting up serving stations and assisting with serving duties Follow all safety guidelines related to kitchen operations, including proper knife skills and sanitation practices Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is preferred Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards to ensure safety at all times Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and other team members Join us in creating delicious meals while developing your culinary expertise!
