Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to established recipes and standards Support cooking activities by preparing simple dishes under supervision, ensuring quality and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food items safely during storage, handling, and serving to prevent contamination Aid in meal assembly and serving processes for residents, customers, or guests in a timely manner Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup and cleanup Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Strong understanding of food handling procedures and food safety standards Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering is advantageous Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world by supporting our kitchen team!
