In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation to support our culinary team. Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to recipes and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas, through regular cleaning and sanitizing Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth service flow during busy hours Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and guests Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and sanitation standards
