Responsibilities May Include:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence. Food prep and kitchen support Dishwashing and maintaining clean work areas Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations. Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met. Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions, adapting to different menu requirements. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Adhere to all kitchen safety regulations and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment. Maintain proper food holding temperatures and quality standards. Support buffet, plated, and action station service as needed .Requirements:
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Ability to follow detailed recipes and menu plans accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards meal preparation and service. Previous banquet, hotel, or catering kitchen experience preferred Strong understanding of high-volume food production Ability to follow prep lists and execute dishes efficiently Reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Weekend and event availability preferred Must complete onboarding through the GravyWork app Why Work With Us?
