Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service with a positive attitude. Prepare food items efficiently following safety and quality standards, including handling ingredients and cooking with culinary techniques. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing transactions with basic math skills. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve the customer experience through suggestive selling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment. Assist with food safety compliance, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment for all. Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring efficient flow during busy hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in culinary tasks or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided! Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
