Water Kitchen & Bath Draftsperson Location:
Remote. Open to international candidates (must be able to work Eastern Time hours) Where Detail Meets Design Wood + Water is a kitchen and bath design studio specializing in cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, appliances, and remodeling design support. We create functional, beautiful spaces through thoughtful layouts, quality products, and careful attention to detail. Our team works quickly and accurately, balancing creativity with practical execution. We are looking for a detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Draftsperson to support kitchen, bath, cabinetry, and interior design projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands residential design, technical drawings, measurements, cabinetry layouts, and project documentation. You will assist the design team with drafting, revisions, product details, material takeoffs, and organized project files. The right person is accurate, dependable, coachable, and able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality. Key Responsibilities Create and revise kitchen, bath, cabinetry, and interior drawings. Support designers with layouts, elevations, floor plans, cabinet plans, and technical documentation. Assist with cabinetry details, dimensions, specifications, and material information. Help prepare drawings and documents for client presentations, vendors, and installers. Review project information for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Assist with takeoffs, counts, measurements, and product details. Update drawings based on feedback from the design team. Maintain organized project files, plans, and documentation. Communicate clearly about missing information, conflicts, questions, or needed revisions. Qualifications Experience in drafting, cabinetry design, kitchen and bath design, interior design, architecture, millwork, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret plans, dimensions, measurements, and design information. Experience with drafting or design software used in kitchen, bath, cabinetry, interiors, or architecture. Strong written English communication skills. Comfortable receiving direct feedback and making revisions quickly. Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely. Experience using 2020 Design for kitchen, bath, and cabinetry layouts. Experience with cabinetry, millwork, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, or residential remodeling is a plus. Pay and Benefits Hours may be full-time or part-time, depending on workload. Competitive pay based on experience. This is a 1099/contractor role; no employee benefits are provided.
