Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member, where your energy and passion for food will help create memorable dining experiences. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with various kitchen operations. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to a lively, efficient, and welcoming environment that delights our guests and maintains the highest standards of hospitality. Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency. Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and health regulations at all times. Assist with banquet setups, serving staff support, and other special event needs to ensure smooth service delivery. Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly attitude. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and uphold high standards of hospitality. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Experience with food handling, bussing, serving, or hotel-related culinary roles is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment. A genuine interest in hospitality, culinary arts, or related fields is highly valued. Certification in food safety or related training is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications upon hire.
