Today Job Description Join Our Team at St. John Paul II School! Part-Time Lunch Assistant St. John Paul II Catholic School | Mitchell, SD Guided by Faith. Driven by Excellence. St. John Paul II Catholic School (Preschool-6th grade) seeks a friendly, organized Part-Time Lunch Assistant to join our team this fall, helping prepare healthy, appealing meals in a joyful, faith-filled environment. As part of the Sacred Heart Pastorate and Diocese of Sioux Falls, we are committed to Catholic liberal education.

Schedule:

9:00-10:30/11:00 a.m., Monday-Friday during the school year. $16/hour, DOE. Responsibilities include assisting the Coordinator with meal preparation, lunchroom setup, and daily kitchen tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Basic food safety knowledge (or willingness to train) Ability to follow recipes and prepare food in quantity Strong organizational skills; able to work independently Joyful, positive attitude and love of working with children Active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church Must pass a background check This role requires continuous standing/walking in the kitchen, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and comfort with food odors and varying temperatures.
