$10-$15 per hour, depending on experience Job Summary Little Ninja is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cooking, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting the overall day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Key Responsibilities
Operate the deep fryer and safely prepare fried food items.
Prepare and portion ingredients for cooking and food service.
Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, work areas, and storage spaces.
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients and supplies.
Monitor food and supplies and report low inventory or other issues to management.
Follow recipes, preparation instructions, and established kitchen procedures.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Assist other kitchen and restaurant staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Experience operating a deep fryer is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.
Must maintain a clean and professional work environment.
