Kitchen Manager /Store Manager Position Summary:
The Back of House (BOH) Team Member at Barrio Burrito Bar is responsible for preparing high-quality food, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen. BOH Team Members contribute directly to the overall guest experience by delivering consistently excellent meals.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion controls. Operate cooking equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep stations. Receive, organize, and store food inventory following proper food safety guidelines. Ensure kitchen cleanliness by following daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain company standards. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and inform management of low stock items. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Collaborate with FOH staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain a sense of urgency while multitasking during peak hours.Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred. Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in varying temperatures. Flexible schedule with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.Pay:
