We are looking for experienced, dependable and hardworking Kitchen Team Members to join our team in Austin. This is a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. We are looking for people who already understand restaurant kitchen operations, take pride in their work, move with urgency, stay organized and can be counted on to show up ready to work. This is NOT an entry-level kitchen position. A minimum of 2 years of restaurant kitchen experience is required. Candidates with 2-3+ years of experience working in fast-paced or high-volume restaurants are strongly preferred.RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and company standards Execute orders quickly and accurately during high-volume service Follow proper portioning, cooking and food-quality standards Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Complete opening, closing, cleaning and restocking duties Communicate clearly with kitchen team members and leadership Maintain accuracy and composure during busy service periods Assist with prep, inventory and restocking as needed Follow company recipes, procedures and operating standards consistently Work as part of a team to keep service moving efficientlyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of restaurant kitchen experience Strong understanding of working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during high-volume rushes Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic Able to work with a sense of urgency Organized and detail-oriented Able to take direction and accept feedback Team-oriented with a professional attitude Available nights and weekends Reliable transportation Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain onePREFERRED EXPERIENCE
2-3+ years of restaurant kitchen experience High-volume restaurant experience Fry station experience Line cook experience Experience working with high ticket volume Experience following standardized recipes, portions and kitchen proceduresPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work around fryers, heat and commercial kitchen equipment Ability to bend, reach and perform repetitive kitchen tasks Ability to safely lift and carry approximately 40-50 lbs when necessaryCOMPENSATION
Starting pay is $18-$20/hour depending on experience. Performance based bonuses offered after Probationary period. Pay increases and advancement opportunities may be available based on performance, reliability, skill development and leadership ability.SCHEDULE
Strong night and weekend availability is required. When applying, please include your current availability and a brief description of your restaurant kitchen experience. Applicants who do not meet the minimum restaurant kitchen experience requirement will not be considered.Pay:
