Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of meals during busy service hours Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to strict food safety protocols Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support menu planning efforts by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, mixers, and cooking appliances Serve prepared meals with professionalism, ensuring presentation quality and customer satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards Experience with meal preparation and food handling Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving in restaurant or food industry settings Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Commitment to food safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude We are growing and doing alot of exciting things. This is a part time position that could soon grow into full-time. You will assist the baker at times and we will soon be doing catering. Must keep up with inventory and pars. Fifo will be your best friend. You must be self motivated and driven. You will work independently often. Punctuality and attendance is a must. However, we are flexible on hours. Can work morning or evening. You must be able to keep product continously full and bring ideas to the table. We work as a team and drama will not be tolerated.
