The ideal candidate will have a passion for a commitment to providing exceptional meal preparation and food service. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and adhering to high standards of food quality and safety. •

Duties:

•Prepare and cook a variety of meals Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including the preparation area, cooking stations, and storage facilities Assist with inventory management Ensure proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the restaurant floor and outdoor spaces. Perform tasks as needed, including cleaning and restocking equipment and supplies •

Qualifications:

•Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including food and equipment Food handler certification or willingness to obtain Duties Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes Use knife skills to chop, slice, and prepare ingredients efficiently and safely Support cooking processes by following recipes and kitchen procedures accurately Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Help with food service tasks such as plating, portioning, and presentation of dishes Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Contribute to catering events or special functions as needed, supporting overall kitchen operations Skills Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or a related role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knife skills with attention to safety and precision Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling best practices Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures in the food industry Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining quality standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Previous restaurant or culinary experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
