Kitchen Staff at Hyatt Place are responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring food quality, and supporting the smooth operation of the hotel's kitchen and dining services. They help provide guests with a positive dining experience by preparing and serving food safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist cooks and chefs in preparing meals according to Hyatt Place standards and recipes. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools. Ensure proper food storage and rotation following food safety guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to supervisors. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times. Dispose of waste and recyclables properly. Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquet, or room-service operations as required. Provide excellent teamwork and assist colleagues during busy periods.
