Duties Assist chefs and kitchen staff with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using knives and other kitchen tools. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support catering events by preparing food items according to specified menus and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food items are handled safely and stored correctly. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and notifying supervisors of low supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and catering operations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
