In this vital role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with meal service to provide delicious, nutritious options for our guests. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for meals Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring proper techniques and safety protocols are followed Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain organization of kitchen supplies, utensils, and ingredients for efficient workflow Support catering events by preparing and serving food in accordance with health standards Assist with food service activities, including serving meals and clearing tables as needed Experience (optional) Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment demonstrates strong food handling skills Practical knowledge of kitchen equipment, knife skills, and cooking techniques is beneficial Understanding of food safety regulations ensures compliance with health standards Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
