The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation and food handling. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are prepped according to recipes and standards. Support cooks in executing menu items with precision and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and best practices for food handling to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers. Utilize knives and other kitchen tools safely and effectively while preparing ingredients. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by helping to receive, store, and rotate stock as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, including meal preparation and food handling practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work.
