Full Job Description Sub Line Prep Location:
DFW Position Summary The Sub Line Prep team member is responsible for supporting daily kitchen and sandwich preparation operations by preparing food orders, stocking ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service. This role helps ensure customers receive fresh, accurate, and high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining food safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently while maintaining consistency, teamwork, and a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations Prepare subs, sandwiches, and food items according to company recipes and procedures. Assist with daily kitchen operations and support team needs throughout the shift. Prepare customer food orders accurately and efficiently. Support food expo operations to ensure orders are completed correctly and delivered in a timely manner. Maintain proper stocking levels of ingredients, supplies, and operational items throughout the shift. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or product concerns to management. Rotate products and ingredients using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain awareness of ticket times and support smooth service flow during peak business periods. Compliance Vendor Quality Assurance Adhere to all health, food safety, and sanitation regulations. Ensure food preparation and handling procedures consistently meet company and regulatory standards. Maintain quality control standards to ensure food products meet customer expectations. Monitor ingredient and food quality from vendors and report concerns or inconsistencies to management. Follow workplace safety procedures and operational guidelines. Customer Service Deliver Tier 1 (T1) customer experience standards through friendly and efficient service. Greet and acknowledge customers with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain positive customer engagement throughout the food preparation and service process. Provide friendly farewells and support a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Assist with customer questions or concerns and escalate issues when appropriate. Work Area Management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sandwich preparation and kitchen area. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of prep stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure supplies, ingredients, and operational tools are properly stocked and organized. Assist with end-of-shift cleaning, organization, and kitchen reset procedures. Requirements Previous food preparation, deli, sandwich shop, restaurant, or food service experience preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations preferred. Ability to follow recipes, preparation procedures, and operational instructions accurately. Strong time management and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask while maintaining food quality and service standards. Strong customer service and communication skills. Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain physically active throughout scheduled shifts. Ability to lift and carry food products, supplies, and kitchen equipment as needed
