Responsibilities Assist with food preparation including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, fryers, and food processors Prepare meals according to menu specifications while maintaining consistency and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to uphold food safety and sanitation protocols Support catering events by preparing and serving food with professionalism and attention to detail Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service Follow safety standards in production areas, including proper food handling techniques and hygiene practices Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling procedures Skilled in menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques Proficient in operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent knife skills with slicing techniques for efficient food prep Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering settings Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Familiarity with safety standards in food production and cleaning procedures Demonstrated ability to work quickly while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment Join us to bring your culinary talents to life while making a positive impact through nourishing meals!
