As a Kitchen Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by packing vans, preparing food, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and requires Saturday availability.

Van Packing:

Efficiently and safely pack vans with food, supplies, and equipment for scheduled deliveries. Ensure that all items are properly organized, secured, and labeled to guarantee accurate and on-time deliveries. Assist in loading and unloading vans as needed.

Food Preparation:

Follow recipes and instructions to prepare a variety of food items. Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers and team members.

Kitchen Maintenance:

Keep the kitchen area clean and sanitized at all times, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning. Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor of low stock or equipment issues. Follow proper cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure a safe and organized workspace.

Physical Requirements:

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of the job responsibilities. Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Must be available to work on Saturdays as part of the regular schedule.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy kitchen. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to meet physical requirements. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
