Kitchen Team Member/Commis Holladay, UT 84117 From $16 an hour - Full-time From $16 an hour - Full-time Be a part of an exciting authentic French bakery in Holladay! Prepare and bake viennoiseries, tarts, and much more. Complete all assigned prep and baking work following company recipes and standards while maintaining product presentation, quality, and production standards. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and the culinary arts. Our company focuses on traditional French techniques, high quality ingredients, and refined presentation. Previous kitchen and/or baking experience is required. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional kitchen setting and is ideal for individuals looking to continue developing their skills within the food industry. Candidates must be available from Wednesday to Sunday starting at 4:30am.

This position requires reliable attendance and weekend availability to meet operational needs. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize the work area before, during, and after shift. Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times. Set up work stations for maximum productivity and efficiency consistent with company guidelines. Assist in preparing and baking menu items according to established recipes, standards, and specifications. Complete all assigned prep work within assigned timelines. Move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and baking equipment. Prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency and productivity. Date, label, and rotate all products as prescribed. Support inventory tracking and ingredient usage processes. Assist in the cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of all back-of-house storage areas, kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment. Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects. Support other team members throughout the shift as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Experience & Qualifications Must meet all federal, state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to food service, including obtaining a Utah Food Handler Permit. Experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food preparation environment is required. Must be capable of safely using knives, ovens, and other food preparation equipment. Proficiency in English is not required. Must work well with limited supervision while also collaborating effectively with team members. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential for this position. Interest in traditional baking and willingness to continue learning in a professional kitchen environment.
