We're looking for Pastry Assistants who are passionate professionals and take pride in their craft, contributing to a team known for excellence. Part-time | 15-25 hours/week | 3-4 shifts

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with preparing dough, batter, filling, frosting, etc. Help shape, portion, and decorate pastries and desserts Weigh, measure, and organize ingredients according to recipes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment and utensils Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies Communicate effectively with management to ensure smooth operations Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or pastry environment preferred Knowledge of basic pastry techniques, tools, and terminology Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards

JOB ENVIRONMENT/OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS

May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs Standing and walking for extended periods of time Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management

COMPENSATION

$18.00 - $21.00/hour. This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
