Job Summary Join our vibrant culinary team as a Restaurant Kitchen Help, where your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient kitchen environment. In this role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are upheld, and assist with meal service to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your energy and attention to detail will help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently, making every guest's visit memorable. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and food handling techniques Support cooking activities by following recipes and meal plans to ensure consistent quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Help with food service operations, including plating dishes and assisting servers as needed Aid in menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming meals or catering events Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients Contribute to catering setups and breakdowns, ensuring timely and efficient service for events Assist with dish washing and closing Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly is preferred Demonstrated ability to handle food safely and maintain hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment Experience with kitchen tools such as knives and other culinary equipment is beneficial Exposure to menu planning or catering operations can enhance your effectiveness in this role Prior restaurant experience that showcases teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering excellent food service!
