Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your energetic approach will help keep the kitchen running smoothly, supporting culinary staff and enhancing the overall guest experience. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain foundational hospitality and food service experience in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning procedures and dish machine. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Support catering and banquet tear down by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use after each event. Follow proper food handling protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across the entire kitchen area. Responsible for general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and maintaining overall sanitation. Responsible for cleaning hot boxes and totes and returning the kitchen ready to go. Responsible for cleaning outdoors around trashcan and generally keeping the grounds free of trash and debris. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables or assisting in food prep is advantageous. Experience with banquet service or catering environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations and hospitality services.
