Job Description

Starr Hill Brewery is looking for people who can support our both our Back of House & Front of House Operations. Backline Crew Members will focus on quality bar cuisine, and supporting the bartenders in bussing tables during high-volume times.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE

Preparing and cooking a streamlined, high-quality menu with speed and consistency Ensuring all food is plated and presented to brand standards Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and food prep areas, and supporting in cleanliness of service areas Delivering food to customers in a timely manner Following food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with SERV Safe and VDACS Participating in daily kitchen setup, prep, and breakdown Assisting in refining processes as the food program grows and evolves Communicating clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure timely order delivery Being adaptable to changing menus, service styles, and team needs Supporting maintenance of cleanliness in the space, by completing special projects assigned by the General Manager Serving as an ambassador for Starr Hill Brewery

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

ServSafe Certification strongly preferred Prior experience in a commercial kitchen strongly preferred Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality Ability to take direction, multitask, and stay organized under pressure Passion for great food and customer service Willingness to collaborate and help improve processes as the kitchen grows Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed Available for functions as they arise to ensure that the food is prepared and served as required.
