Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met. Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to adhere to health and safety regulations. Help with food handling and storage procedures to ensure freshness and prevent contamination. Support banquet and catering events by preparing large quantities of food and setting up serving areas. Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to maintain a clean dining environment for guests. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of kitchen procedures. Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Experience with banquet service, bussing, and general hospitality duties is a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers courteously. Ability to handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices. Prior hotel or culinary experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly in diverse settings.
