Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Team Member and become the heart of an energetic, fast-paced food service environment! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, ensures smooth food preparation and service, and maintains a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable experiences for every customer while supporting daily operations with your culinary skills, POS expertise, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage sales. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries promptly. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout the restaurant. Assist with food handling duties including stocking supplies, food safety compliance, and proper storage procedures. Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to serve customers swiftly without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant flow, support food preparation tasks, and uphold a positive dining atmosphere. Experience Previous experience in food service or a fast-food environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks like measuring ingredients or calculating totals. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is advantageous. Experience working in a café or retail grocery setting can be helpful but is not mandatory; what matters most is your positive attitude and eagerness to serve. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
