Job Description

ANWSD School Nutrition is hiring for 30-35 hours per week as a School Nutrition Cook/Assistant. Scratch cooking and daily meal preparation, line service, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance in an energetic, fun team environment dedicated to serving students well.

This position requires daily cooking and culinary skills. Prepare and serve food according to planned menus, sanitation procedures while providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Communicate and interact positively with students, families, staff, and community members and contribute to a collaborative team environment by assisting co-workers as needed. Some lifting of 30-50 pounds as well as standing for long periods of time are required.

Position is a school year position starting in August and ending in June with an option of working in our summer program each year.
