This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation.
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS LINE COOK EXPERIENCE.
Duties Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and portion sizes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including all cooking equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Support menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Participate in catering events, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown as needed. Utilize knives and other kitchen tools safely and effectively for food preparation tasks. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new staff members in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Skills Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Strong knife skills for efficient food preparation. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others when needed.
