Qualifications Sushi Teamwork FIFO Seafood Full Job Description The Role:
Kitchen Staff We are looking for dedicated Kitchen Staff to assist our culinary team. Whether you are a seasoned cook or eager to learn authentic Japanese cooking techniques, you will play a critical role in supporting daily kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, and meal assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with prep work, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and scaling recipes. Prepare and cook hot menu items (such as ramen, tempura, and teriyaki) with care and consistency. Support the sushi and hot line chefs during busy shifts. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food items using FIFO procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering kitchen is highly desirable, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay:
$20.00 ~ $35.00 per hour depending on the experience
