As a team member/pastry cook, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality desserts and beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing outstanding customer service. If you have a love for desserts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you! Duties Be in charge of dessert prep including cannoli cream, cheesecakes, and tiramisu Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Be able to pipe cannoli and plate desserts such as cheesecakes, tiramisu, etc Be able to make milkshakes and affogato Be able to work by yourself on certain shifts while being able to make orders quickly, accurately, and provide great customer service. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling customer transactions with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere. Qualifications Previous experience as a barista is recommended. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Available to work Friday and Saturday nights. A willingness to learn about pastry techniques is highly valued. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
